Sturdy stuff, just what you need for an FJ40 lift kit
Installed a Pro Comp 2.5" lift kit on my '71 FJ40. New grease shackles installed. I still have some new bushings (not from Pro Comp) for the top of the front and rear strut pins, but they appeared to be some kind of rubber and didn't last long. These ES Poly bushings are the right solution, they are stiff and springy and I don't expect any problems from now on. Previous bushings were too soft and looked like they were warped and torn. ES bushings did not warp and were easier to install. Do not use anything other than polymer bushings on the upper clevis pins.
