I thought this salted caramel flavor would be a good alternative to the vanilla or chocolate protein powders I usually use. It tastes like salted caramel to my liking, but too sweet for my liking. I made a smoothie out of it first, just with soy yoghurt, soy milk and ice cream so I can judge the taste for myself. The soy yogurt added some acidity, but I would have liked less sweetness. It also feels a bit sticky in the mouth. Not terrible, but not entirely smooth either. I make these smoothies in Vitamix in smoothie mode so my blender doesn't run low. With that in mind, it packs a good, healthy amount of protein without too many calories and no sugar. I love the ingredients, I love that it's organic and I love that it's made in Canada, a country whose manufacturing processes don't make me suspicious. If you like the taste this is a very good powder.
