I am absolutely, completely, completely, no kidding, in love with these sheets. They are more than comfortable. Last year I bought 3 sets of bedding. The first was over $80 and was from Bed Bath and Beyond - my favorite color is purple. They were good but felt very slippery and didn't breathe well. I'm a very short-tempered person and it hurts a lot, which makes me sweat. The sheets soaked up sweat and made you feel wet. So I bought a chocolate brown Egyptian cotton duvet set. They were better but cost the same and still had some of the same issues with breathing and feeling smooth. So I decided to take a chance with these sheets and hope for the best. I got lucky, lucky, on this set. The sheets are far from a smooth surface. They're smooth and comfortable - not scratchy or slippery. You breathe with me too. I no longer slip and slide when getting out of bed and can't wait to curl up in my sheets and blanket and get some rest. Some sheets that are "comfy," like jersey sheets, don't retain heat very well. And sometimes they itch. But those sheets - I can't tell you how comfortable they feel. And they don't attract a lot of lint and stay in place once you put them on. I will be buying another set in a different color in about a month and will probably be a Christmas present for everyone this year lol.
