This is a great tool for the money!

This is a "right size" gauge for using hand tools in the workplace. Not so small that it can be lost or dropped: it has a small strap to attach it to yourself or hang it from something nearby and the display is great. Pros to consider: 1: Small but not too small and it looks like it costs more than it actually is. 2: Uses 3 AAA batteries, so battery life may not be too short. 3: It comes in a nice protective case and is NOT heavy. 4: Comes with two good type K thermocouples .5: It also has the perfect size indicator for use in the field! 6: I used it in my cold work to easily calculate hypothermia. Cons of this device: 1: It is made in China, not in Taiwan or other better places. . Here's why it matters in #2. 2: Guarantee after Revain's 30-day guarantee is pure nonsense! If he dies in a few months, not only do you have to provide copies of all your original purchase documents like you always do, but you also have to send him a $20 money order to have the thing fixed for which you paid just over $20. have paid dollars. Yeah right. Obviously you might just have to buy another one = not a really good guarantee. 3: If you drop it very far, it's probably toast. broken hard plastic. Most things are pretty hard, brittle plastic, though, aren't they? So it's the same. 4: My first device beeped when I turned it on, but the display was completely dead, so be prepared to be flexible and forgiving. Revain shipped the second unit IMMEDIATELY and gave me a free return label. (I love Revain!) 5: You can't calibrate your device. It's not guaranteed to be super accurate, but neither are most others, so my second block is working great now! It's easy to understand and use. I think it will be perfect for my occasional cooling tests. It has a "T1 - T2" function which is GREAT to use! You will instantly see and easily see your hypothermia or hypothermic readings in the T2 position on the screen. (By the way, I also have a Supco power monitor that I've been using for 2 years. It logs volts and amps on your computer screen. It's a great tool, so I recommend looking at Supco as a good value (second maybe) product line in general if you consider this product it's certainly not the best you can buy but it's pretty good stuff i like it and as such i recommend you buy it and enjoy it because you MUCH can spend more money to do the same. :-)
