I have to say I'm pleased and surprised - thing does exactly what it's supposed to do at a pretty reasonable price My mother in law Law just moved into a nursing home . Her previous apartment had a direct broadband connection; She had an ethernet cable going from the modem to the computer. However, their new location offers Wi-Fi for all residents. but there is no wireless adapter on her desktop. A friend suggested a simple USB adapter. Although I didn't recognize the manufacturer, this one had pretty good reviews (and an attractive price point). It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The installation software is supplied on a USB stick. Paste it, type "setup", it will do the trick. Choose the right network and you're done! I didn't measure the actual transfer rate; She will only use it for email, YouTube browsing, and the occasional Zoom session. This works great for everyone. I would be happy to recommend it.
