Fiction! in Computers and accessories

My laptop had problems connecting to the WLAN for a while, I replaced the card, which didn't help. I decided to give it a try. My internet plan with the cable company is only for 100 MBPS. My normal download speed is in the 50Mbps range when connected to Wi-Fi. The highest ever is 57. I got this very quickly and it was very easy to install on my laptop. And I was totally amazed! My speed has never been below 98 MBPS! They average in the 110 range. This doubled my download speed. Didn't think it

It's damn cool

So I was looking for a good wifi booster as my laptop doesn't have the best range. Especially since my Wi-Fi router is outside my room and 30 feet down the hall. My last Wi-Fi Dongle Booster has endured a short sad time and I really had to find something better. I looked around and found this one (of three). I finally gave up and bought it and I love it. It's easy to set up as the software goes. It came with a flash drive instead of a hard drive, which is great since my laptop doesn't have a…

Amazing - does exactly what it's supposed to do

I have to say I'm pleased and surprised - thing does exactly what it's supposed to do at a pretty reasonable price My mother in law Law just moved into a nursing home . Her previous apartment had a direct broadband connection; She had an ethernet cable going from the modem to the computer. However, their new location offers Wi-Fi for all residents. but there is no wireless adapter on her desktop. A friend suggested a simple USB adapter. Although I didn't recognize the manufacturer, this one had

My first non-original Wi-Fi adapter, a learning experience.

So this thing was day and night compared to my onboard wifi. I literally if from under 1mb/s instantly to 20+. It made my internet usable again and I could finally download games when I was awake and using my computer. Based on that, it's amazing. It's very functional and works exactly as advertised, although it does have some flaws. Windows doesn't automatically read it correctly. So you'll have to dig around on the edup site and download the drivers for that particular one if you don't have a

Not bad for the money

This wireless adapter does a good job. It came in its own box with an instruction manual and a flash drive with software. It was easy to install, just follow the instructions and read the user manual if you have trouble. In general, the signal strength is acceptable. I was able to download games and programs to my computer relatively quickly and stream videos with ease. I've been using it for a few months now and have only had a few issues. I have moments where the signal gets weaker for a few…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Nothing

The adapter's speed is faster than my laptop's internal Wi-Fi adapter, but only when it's working. I had trouble connecting it to my computer. It kept disconnecting with that USB sound no matter what I did. I've reinstalled drivers, manually installed drivers, edited USB power saving settings, etc., but nothing worked. Until I thought it might be a voltage issue. For some reason I thought that maybe my computer is supplying such a large voltage to the device that it turns itself off because the
