My first non-original Wi-Fi adapter, a learning experience.

So this thing was day and night compared to my onboard wifi. I literally if from under 1mb/s instantly to 20+. It made my internet usable again and I could finally download games when I was awake and using my computer. Based on that, it's amazing. It's very functional and works exactly as advertised, although it does have some flaws. Windows doesn't automatically read it correctly. So you'll have to dig around on the edup site and download the drivers for that particular one if you don't have a CD drive. like most people in 2020. It was difficult to find my model number when installing it on a new computer. The software in general is pretty crappy, and since I've bought other adapters that Windows will recognize right away, I think this is a major flaw on the part of edup. In addition, it gets very hot with intensive use. But it was also hanging around my computer's exhaust pipe because of the length of the included cable. In general. A great upgrade for an OEM laptop WiFi adapter. But for a desktop I would just take the TP Link and not bother with the software.
