I purchased this product for my AEM cold air intake system to eliminate the possibility of a water seal, a condition that occurs when your engine ingests water that is not compressed like air can. resulting in engine damage. your piston rods. Unfortunately, my order arrived damaged, with a small crack in the foam valve body, so I didn't have a chance to install it. However, I would like to share some tips to check before purchasing this product. First, this valve is large, about twice the size of your intake pipe, and cannot touch anything once installed. So make sure you have some clearance around the pipe to make sure it fits. Second, you will need to cut off part of the intake pipe or have someone else do it. In any case, you probably don't want to buy this if you don't feel comfortable with this mod. While I have had issues with my product, I am in no way suggesting that you will have any issues. My damage was due to shipping, not poor manufacturing, and I would recommend it as a worthy addition to a cold air intake system.
