The white filter material was thinner when compared to the Original filter. When I ran the vacuum with this new filter, the motor ran high and the suction was higher - so that it was difficult to move the vacuum over carpet. Further, the displayed run time showed 10 minutes left. When I replaced it with the original filter, the run time went to 15 minutes, and the drag of the vacuum on the carpet was what I consider normal.This Emige filter reduced the available run time by 30% in my simple test, and made the vacuum drag on the carpet. These are bad outcomes and I am returning the filter today, and put myself on the waiting list for a Dyson manufactured filter (I could not find a Dyson manufactured filter on ebay).IF you buy a Dyson filter copy, save your original filter and test it yourself.
