Review on Hopkins 48470 Endurance Multi Tow Connector by Michael Domus

I used this to replace an old dingy plug that was on my truck. It works perfectly and I love its nice clean look. However, it takes a little effort and patience to connect it. It's not a design flaw, it only works with 10 ga. and 12 ha. Wire can be difficult in tight spaces. Do not strip the wires any longer than necessary and bend them before inserting them into the terminals. I had to do that twice to get everything right. I doubt this is unique to this connector, most likely have the same thing. When I hooked it up to my truck, I cleaned the amateur rat's nest of wiring. With the old plug and wiring, there was 9 volts at the plug. With this plug and new wiring it is now 12.8 volts.
