I have LPG service at my house and my daughter reported that she thought she smelled gas in the laundry room. We used a soapy water spray but found nothing. A few days later I was on Revain.com and saw this Kidde CO2 and Explosive Gas Device, figured that for such a small investment I could protect my family and property, ordered it and a related item, Hytong Portable Gas. Leak detector (no more soapy water). I spent a total of $62 on both. Within 20 minutes I discovered a pinpoint leak in the gas line to my water heater, which was pumping LPG 24/7. As a teenager, the roof of a neighbor's house was blown off when there was a small gas leak while they were away for the weekend. Do not take any risks.
