This is probably one of the most unreliable air purifiers I have ever used. In my experience you have a 50% chance of getting one that lasts. We first ordered two Vevas and within a week one of the engines had a very strong rumble. I contacted customer service and to their credit the door was replaced within 3 days. The replacement I received was. challenging. If you touch anything on the sides or top, the top fan will kind of screech. Even switching from 1 to 2 or moving a unit will cause it to drag. It works as long as I don't look at it weirdly, look for perfect alignment, or move it at all. Our second unit had a ceiling fan that was unbalanced. Every 30 seconds you can hear the crunching of plastic on plastic on the 1st and 2nd stage. I contacted them and this was also replaced. The replacement I have received has been reliable so far. They suck up dust, cat hair and everything else as they work. The filters are cheap and they have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. Units are extremely unpredictable, unreliable and should be more durable in the top and bottom hulls. Another thing that worries me is that dust will accumulate in the exhaust when both filters are installed. in summary. I bought 2, replaced both, now 1 works and the other works since day one and will die sooner or later. These guys have great customer service and Vanessa is great at her job but they need to pay serious attention to the inner shell design as it needs an update. I would not recommend this device. Filters are cheap, but the devices just aren't worth the hassle. If I could get a refund and send it back and buy something else I would. To be honest I don't think they're even shippable and that's probably a big part of the problem as they seem brittle compared to other cleaners.
