I feed my dog a raw diet, and use these as an affordable way to add bison protein in his diet since fresh bison is to expensive . I had been using lamb lungs as an after meal treat game for about 9 months and then tried beef and ultimately these. I love them because they are so easy to break in small pieces for the game we play, and although my dog likes the lamb from another company, he goes nuts for the bison. They are fairly thin slices which make them easy to break apart and allows for more turns at the game giving the same weight as the lamb ones. We are bison converts and I am not looking forward to using up the bag of lamb I still have. I wish I could afford to add fresh bison in his raw food because it is such a healthy meat, but I am thrilled to use these dehydrated treats.
