We recently removed carpet and put down laminate. I was looking for a runner that we could put alongside the crib because we have nighttime rollouts but it also needed to be easy to clean and non-skid. This is all of the above. It’s the right length as it stretches passed the crib on both sides. I was able to put it in the washing machine in a laundry bag and it came out perfectly fine. No shedding and no matting. Also, our laminate is kind of slick and while this carpet is not stuck on the floor, it definitely doesn’t slip around.The faux fur is super soft. I was expecting something coarse but it is not at all. It’s also a beautiful white. It’s not the most plush rug but it definitely breaks a fall out of the crib.
