This spod was well made though. I sent the casserole dish back because the white background had a slight yellow cast and was heavier than I expected. It was made in China, not England. I understand Spode has been sold by Portmeirion and different lines or parts are from different factories around the world. This is Spode, but it might be a little different than expected.
