🔵 Spode Blue Italian Square Dish - 10 Inch Review

This is a beautiful dish with bright, crisp colors. The oven table is ideal for everyday use and still looks beautiful on an elegantly set table.

Beautiful and functional. I have these in other forms. They are very sturdy and can go from the fridge to the oven and vice versa. It's deeper than the standard and I love this attribute because I can fill it with more food.

This spod was well made though. I sent the casserole dish back because the white background had a slight yellow cast and was heavier than I expected. It was made in China, not England. I understand Spode has been sold by Portmeirion and different lines or parts are from different factories around the world. This is Spode, but it might be a little different than expected.

I bought one and had to return it as it arrived broken. I also found an offer at another local store and bought it below retail price. I loved it so much I bought another one from Revain (the sale has been cancelled). It is a good size and makes the perfect serving dish. It is convenient that it can be baked and washed in the dishwasher. The beauty of the old Spode pattern with a modern twist. Complete VICTORY!

I bought 2 of these square serving platters and was very impressed with their quality. It's durable, looks great and comes well packaged in a gift box. I was a little hesitant to buy again from the same seller as I had previously bought a 12 piece Italian Spode Blue set and kettle and I received defective factory seconds from this seller. This particular seller sells most of Spode. When I received this dish it was perfect with no flaws that I could see. I strongly recommend buying this dish.
