It would be great if it had several mounting grooves for different saddle rail widths.

Looks good. All details fit. For my custom saddle it doesn't fit the rails as it goes up like the picture. I was hoping to use this with my saddlebag but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't manage to fit either.
