Durability and value for money
Since I've been using them, these are SC-SC connections that just work. At only $7 for a 5-pack at the time of my purchase, they're good value for what they offer. However, it should be remembered that they are completely passive connectors - any light/laser that penetrates them passes through the hole in the middle between the fibers of the cables to be connected.
