Review on BenQ EW3270U 31.5-Inch Monitor with FreeSync – 3840X2160P, USB Hub, High Dynamic Range, Blue Light Filter, Flicker-Free by Arumugam Eckstein

Basic monitor at an affordable price.

I paid $299 for a BenQ EW3270ZL 2K 32-inch monitor in October 2018. I knew I wanted a 32 inch monitor and it was going to cost around $300. So after a few weeks of research I settled on the BenQ, mainly because of the price. It's a decent monitor, and at $299 it's cheaper than other monitors with the same specs. It had no dead pixels (which I could see), color saturation was good but a little faded in the corners, and while the speakers are cheap I was glad they were included. However, the overall functionality and lack of features made me return it. Pros: - Price - 4ms response time (good) - Speakers included Cons: - Not VESA compatible - 60Hz only - No tilt, swivel or angle adjustment - No height adjustment - Poor user interface and menus, difficult to use - Poor button configuration - Input switching can be tricky - Screen can look blurry depending on input - Viewing angles are mediocre I've searched for over 2 months so far and bought a total of 4 monitors and 1 smart tv. First it was the 32-inch BenQ, then the 40-inch Samsung 4K TV, then the 32-inch LG 4K monitor, then the 34-inch Ultra Wide Viotek monitor, and finally the 32 inch Viotek curved monitor. To get what I wanted I had to increase my budget by $100, but even then I'm still struggling to find one that suits my needs. Most of them cost $600 and I just can't justify spending that amount on a monitor.
