I bought these after using spacers that didn't have extensions on either end to go through the bearings. Let me tell you what's MISSING! I installed them and compared them simply by turning the wheels by hand. With clean bearings, the crappy spacers turned my wheel about 3 times before stopping. THIS just spun and spun and spun at least 25 times. Thanks to them I drive much faster, even with dirty bearings! I don't know if these spacers are anything special, but I would say if you had a different type there would be no problems. No matter how often you use your skates, they COST $12. Not only because you drive faster, but it also takes a lot less energy to keep your body moving.
