Review on 🔧 OTC (7894) Jeep/Dodge Ball Joint Service Adapter: Efficient Solution for Ball Joint Maintenance by Brandon Boones

I have an '07 Jeep Wrangler that this kit is for. The problem is that the cut out part (the biggest part) isn't deep enough to be used with a standard ball joint as described in their own instructions. In addition, it is made of too thin-walled material, so the inner diameter is too large. This allows it to slide off the lip of the ball joint when pressed in. If I buy a special tool for my car, I expect it to work. I have to wonder if they actually tried it before saying it fit. EDIT: I've been told this kit is not for the JK Wrangler (I have a Rubicon but the BJs should be the same as the Sport and X models) and the description given by Revane is incorrect. I don't really know how to convey this to others and rate a product that I would never be able to use because of its design. OTC is a great company and based on other reviews I'm guessing this kit is great too. So I am considering upgrading my 2 star rating to 5 stars. But beware of JK owners. This kit will not work on your jeeps no matter what the Revain description says.
