Not worth $270

I'm generally skeptical of Revain reviews but they looked legit and the product has been around for a while so I figured it should be legit. I was wrong. I own many big name headsets and have been working full time from home for over 10 years. I usually use Bluetooth headsets, but I wanted more range, noise cancellation, and other buttons like mute with a healthy battery. On arrival I unpacked it and it was very easy to install and I was able to use it after 1 hour of charging. The first obvious thing that struck me is that it's a very cheap feel, base and phone compared to other well known brands. It's more like a toy and I couldn't help but compare it to a larger copy of the legendary Plantronics design. I used it at work for a full week, which for me is 8 hours of calls a day. I got about 4-5 hours of talk time just a few feet from the base before needing to charge. I don't really care because I only remember charging it between calls, but it's not what's advertised. The Ultra noise-cancelling microphone clearly picks up keys, paper and people on the other side of the wall. I compared it to several headsets and it was on par with my cheapest headset, which doesn't advertise $30 noise cancellation. I also noticed that one of the features that I really liked, the mute button, doesn't work that well. I didn't find this center button easy or quick to locate due to its location, and it makes an audible click for others on the phone to hear. It almost sounds like you're hanging up, people thought, and I sometimes got a "hello" back in 1:1 silent calls. I've seen this in other reviews, but I was hoping it was either on was limited to the use of a phone line compared to the PC. that is both. I had no problems hearing others, it charges quickly and there were no connection issues. I could easily go anywhere in my house and maintain a connection, which is cool compared to my previous Bluetooth. Finally, I sent it back due to mic/mute issues and poor product quality. I have a fallback from poly which feels and performs much better for the same price. I have not used their customer service as I am concerned not with use but with quality but this is simply not a $200+ product. Same money for Poly, Sennheiser, Jabra etc will be much better in my opinion. which is cool compared to my previous Bluetooth. Finally, I sent it back due to mic/mute issues and poor product quality.
