My onboard computer broke due to Windows 10 and Windows support was as helpful as wet toilet paper on a dam brake so I looked for an available card. It's something you can't plug in like you used to, at least for this card. Device Manager sees it, but the software doesn't install Ether from the web or CD. Just create a folder and transfer the Windows 10 files from the CD to the folder. Use the initial setup and you're done. So far everything is working fine. You won't get super quality studio sound, but if you've got a decent speaker set, that's not bad.
