What a great tool! - Clock connection

I like to draw, but I can't draw. I used to paint with graphite paper, but I really wanted a lightbox. After reading many reviews on the Internet, I was confused. Many people liked their lightbox when they received it but said it dies after a few uses. I think I understand why. I think that's the power connector that's the Achilles heel here! It uses an Android style connector. From experience with other devices I've found that they can be fragile and I didn't want to ruin my lightbox. So now I always leave the cable connected to the lightbox, avoided reconnecting and disconnecting this important connection and haven't had any issues yet. This lightbox is powerful, like many of them, no doubt. I paint with watercolors on thick 140# Arches paper and this box slides the image through easily. Like it a lot! I also do Prismacolr on heavyweight dark Canson paper. Okay - that's not going to happen. Light cannot penetrate this paper, so in this situation I reverted to the graphite break. But being able to use it for my watercolor breaks and most of my other work is a blessing. Pay attention to the power connection and you can extend the life of these inexpensive lightboxes.
