Do you like useless monitors?

If you're looking for a 1440p 144Hz monitor, look elsewhere. I wouldn't even buy this thing if it went under $200 and here's why: - This is possibly the worst backlight I've seen on a monitor. I winced every time a dark scene appeared on the screen. It's more than just the standard backlight you'd expect from a cheaper IPS panel. If you don't care about BLB, that might be fine, but I seriously considered returning this monitor for just a BLB on day one. Boy, should I have listened to my intuition. Terrible colors right out of the box. You need to switch to 10-bit color mode to get decent image quality. The only problem is that this limits you to 120Hz and NOT 144Hz as advertised. Despite this being advertised as "G-Sync Compatible", my GPU didn't recognize it at all and I was never able to get it to work properly. - When used with a DisplayPort connection, red lines kept flickering on my monitor and strange static noises came out of the port. At first it wasn't very noticeable and only lasted about an hour, but over the course of a month it got progressively worse to the point where it became permanent. Eventually, this problem spread to the HDMI ports as well, making it sound like a bomb exploded in the monitor every time I plugged in the HDMI cable. Acer customer service and its repair center are useless. They said they would fix it in 2 months. So what do I do in the meantime while I need a monitor for work?
