I run a construction company and install these radios on bulldozers (lots of vibration), skid steers, wheel loaders, a boat and some off road vehicles. They are dustproof, waterproof and strong as nails. We have more than 15 such devices, none of them have failed. The first radio receiver was installed 6 years ago. Keep in mind that you will need to create a mounting bracket, which is quite handy for various applications, but the extra effort once made is well worth it.
