Works but isn't a high quality mic stand. My local music store had sold out of the mic stands and I needed one for a project. This Pyle had the fastest shipping I could find on Revain so I ordered it. My biggest issue with this stand is that it has a 1/4" threaded mount instead of the standard 5/8"-27 thread. A plastic "adapter" is included, but the threads on my adapter were deformed, so I couldn't use the stand with either standard 5/8"-27 mic clips or mics with built-in mounts. The stand works with standard mic clips and large-diaphragm condenser mics.- The boom sags under the weight of a standard SM-57. I can't fully extend the boom on a condenser mic.- As mentioned in other reviews, the cable clamps broke immediately. I couldn't even remove the clips from the stand without breaking them.
