Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Accurate Temperature Monitoring: Taylor 3506 TruTemp Dual-Scale Analog Thermometer for Oven/Grill by Shari Smith

Revainrating 1 out of 5

A fairly basic thermometer, but what you see in the photo may not be what you receive.

A simple pressure gauge that I use in my propane smoker. The temperature difference between my digital thermometer and this analog meter is less than 4 degrees, I can live with that. I took two stars off the rating because the thermometer I received doesn't have the color chart shown on the Revain, forcing me to go to him and see exactly where the temp is, which kind of contradicts, why i bought it first location. . I wanted to be able to see it through the propane smoker's window pane, but with a simple scale it's difficult for me to see from a distance. **UPDATE** - After the first use, the scale is switched off. Not only did the front of the sensor look like it was 100 years old, the scale itself was also lost. Putting this and my digital probe within 1" of each other on the same stand now says it's 40F cooler. I messed up 2 chickens because they said I was cooking at 220 when in fact I was cooking at over 275. Garbage.

Pros

Cons
