So I have both wands, big and small, and I love them both! The reason I have both is because I love the curls they give me and I don't want the same one every day. I got the smaller ones for Christmas and immediately ordered the larger ones and they are amazing. I know a lot of people are wondering what size to go, so I curled the sides of my hair with both boning sticks and that's it. The larger one is more suited to free waves, while the smaller one is more curly. Before asking for a wand (these are my first wands I've ever used and owned) I watched a lot of YouTube tutorials on styles and such so you can get a good idea. But you MUST take those sticks. They are inexpensive, with long curls and a nice sleek trunk. And a curl tip: if you don't want the curls/waves to mix and match like in my picture, try switching up your curl styles. For example, curl away from the face, then toward the face, and so on. Also, pay attention to the size of your sections as this will definitely affect the outcome of your curl. I would highly recommend these sticks and I got them myself with no offer for my review so I'm open minded. I just love those sticks and those curls!
