Ordered a large set mainly because the other one was out of stock at the time and now I'm very glad I did. There are always parts left over because we are still learning how to actually build from them. We built very tall ones and I hope to find more ways to make them wider and not so tall. There are so many possibilities! Lots of interesting shapes and details to use. The flares are very pretty and you can use regular glass balls too, which is a plus. The video I've included is just one of many we've created. I say "we" when I mean me and my 7 year old granddaughter. The pieces fit together well for the most part, with the only stability issue being use on a wooden floor and a very tall building. I learned how to add stabilizing pieces connecting the different legs as we assembled and began building the rug runners I purchased. A problem - a cat! She likes to run between different legs and paws that drop balls. It's a lot of fun and you can spend hours with it. The mesh bag it comes in comes in handy for carrying it there and back. In general, I think the price is justified. So far I've been impressed with National Geographic's products.
