These chisels worked well removing 11 year old 3M film from the front of the hood of my 2006 Silverado. began to crack and accumulate dirt and generally did not look very good. Using these chisels in combination with a heat gun was a huge help. Removing old 3M films is a very difficult task. It took me four hours to remove the film from the front of my hood. These plastic chisels left no marks on the metal trim of my hood. I'm not sure I'll ever put 3M wrap on a car again. But I have to say that the paint under the wrap was in perfect condition and the wrap protected the front of my bonnet well from stone chips etc.
