Review on AKAI MPK Mini MKIII MIDI Keyboard Black/Red by Adam Kulesza ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

Has some pros 1) Keys When compared to other models (I had an mpk25), these keys are much more pleasurable to play than other keys on midi keyboards (Arturia is the industry standard for two-octave midi keyboards, of course), but these keys are quite pleasant to play. 2) Pads After a couple of days of playing, the pads became significantly more sensitive, and they stopped hearing me in the next room. The pads are the same as those found in Akai's flagship product; they are comfortable and only moderately sensitive. 3) Screen Although it is modest, it indicates the pressing power of the pads and the values u200bu200bof the adjustment of the knobs, which is unquestionably better than nothing, because very few people have a screen in this area of the market. 4) Nobs They are endless, which is clearly more handy (they do not have fixed values and they spin 360 degrees), made of metal, wide and comfy, the distance between them is pleasant, and they play a bit, but it is not important. 5) The Quality of Your Construction Everything is put together solidly and in one piece, there are no squeaks or farts, and nothing creaks. 6) Design The keyboard has a very nice appearance, and because it is so small, you can easily transport it wherever you go. 7) Cost As I placed my order in Germany, the price in 8K is excellent in general, plus there are white and black color options. despite its advantages. 1) The capabilities of the display It is highly likely that it will be given further functionality in subsequent editions; but, for the time being, the only thing that it is required to do is display the value of the keyboard itself. It has the BPM value of the arpeggiator, but it cannot in any manner be attached to the sequencer; in addition, it is somewhat awkward. The values of the fader, which range from 0 to 127, cannot be mathematically related to the value of the indicator in the program (for instance, you will need to make an estimate of the volume ranging from -50 to +6 on a scale that runs from 0 to 127 and modify it in that manner). Even a screen of this size has the potential to be improved in terms of its functionality.
