Convenience, comfort and efficiency.
I have a coarse beard and sensitive skin; Cuts, cuts and scratches are my lot in life. I've tried almost every shaving method except the razor and the single-edged hypodermic blade gives me the most comfortable and effective results. This manufacturer makes an excellent blade and injector system. Properly finished and sometimes sharpened with a leather strap in the blade holder/handle, these blades are excellent.
