It took 30 seconds to fit side by side in my GE. The taste of the water is no different than when using a GE filter. For the price of one GE filter, you get three of them. Yes, I was able to reset the "Change Filter" indicator in the Control Panel. Just press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Like the GE filter, you have to run about a gallon of water through the filter to clean it.
