True opaque for my opinion

If you’re used to European (aka real) shutters, and miss the black-out they provide, this is what you want.We got a curved curtain bar to black out the light on the sides too.

I had ordered these because they indicated machine wash/dry. However, the package they arrived in said machine wash, hang dry. Even after washing and hang dry some significant wrinkles remained. Ugh! I hung them anyway, usung the included rings, without difficulties.There was a slight chemical smell, but it faded quickly, esp after I sprayed them with fabric freashener spray while hanging to dry.They definitely block the light and seem to block the cold off the windows, just hope the wrinkles eventually go away.
