What looks good when the VHS is connected to the TV doesn't transfer to the computer. The output looks very striped; Colors appear on the screen from time to time, then go back to black and white. I thought my first one was defective but got a replacement with the same problem. Audio and streaming are good, but since I use this to keep older videos as much as possible, this product doesn't do the job.
