Review on PT430-10 Universal Joint-STAKED-in Replacement by Power Train Components by Andrew Kay

Not Fit Chevy Equinox 2009 AWD

Meant to be a drive shaft replacement for the driveshaft. Cup size and rim to rim measurement was correct. What only struck you when you pressed it in was that the distance between the fastening clamps was too large for the inside dimensions of the yolks. Two different attempts to use them resulted in drive shaft misalignment and vibration in the car. Finding a way to hold the cups while keeping them centered will save you a lot of money. It was not an easy task to subsequently withdraw them. I ended up buying a complete driveshaft from Detroit Axle with a lifetime warranty. So if you're looking to replace the universal joints and thrust bearing on a worn driveshaft, simply purchase a pre-assembled driveshaft and save yourself the hassle.
