This steamer is not strong enough. I may have had unreasonable expectations but I bought this primarily for the steam curtains in my home. I tried holding it at several distances from the curtains and running my hand across it at different speeds. I tried tightening the material as suggested in the owner's manual. I don't notice any difference in the number or depth of the wrinkles compared to when I started. So I thought curtains might just be an impertinence for such a small steamer and tried on a thin sweater. I could see a wrinkling effect on the sweater, but at the speed I had to walk it would take me 10-15 minutes to finish (and it wasn't very wrinkled). I come back.
