Product received in good condition. Luckily. This kit has NOT been packaged securely enough to avoid damage. The cylinder was NOT plated so I had to do A LOT of sanding and polishing. There were sand pits on the head mating surface and I had to machine them to an acceptable limit BUT I had to use (2) head gaskets to ensure proper chamber to piston clearance. The intake and exhaust ports had to be ported. I had to process both because of the "sand pits" and the mating of the planes. The new piston's "PIN BORE" piston was offset vertically by 6.2mm which would have resulted in a longer stroke, so I used the previous piston with a new pin and rings. The assembly went well, but I was concerned about (2) used head gaskets. The engine started immediately after the test drive and showed very good results in terms of performance. NO problems mating with the head and/or connectors. Acceleration was excellent and stable. This engine does not like to run at low revs. Otherwise overall ok. Just keep your OLD piston while it's still good, or compare to the NEW piston to match the overall dimensions.
