I liked that it was intuitively laid out so you didn't have to know much about coding to set up your site. The look & feel was clean, easy to navigate, and my clients could easily access all their posts at any time. I did not like bbpress because it was very difficult to customize. You had to hire someone who knew how to code on top of having no support for customization. It cost me money in both hiring the freelancer and then paying for hours they put into trying to get things working properly. If you can afford it, I would recommend using bbpress! We are getting tons of traffic from our main website, and we needed another way to communicate with our subscribers as well. With bbpress, we were able to do just that. Our subscriber base has doubled since we started using BB.
