Review on 🔧 UM49X Adjustable Lobtex Co Ltd by Brad Schillings

This is the highest quality and most practical adjustable wrench! I was thinking about replacing my cheap 15" and looked at Channellock, Bahco and Gedore and then someone told me about the Lobster. It took me a while to get info on it because most of the articles are in Japanese, but after comparing some of the specs, I placed an order and I'm very glad I did!The length of the Lobster UM49X wrench is only 300mm and the grip width is 49mm, which is 1mm more than my old one 15"/380mm wrench. The Channellock 815 15" has a grip width of just 43mm. To allow for a larger grip area, it has a minimum grip volume of 12mm so it doesn't close completely. But who uses a 12" wrench on tiny screws? Adjustment to this wrench is very thin and smooth, with almost no play. The jaws are sharply tapered so you can work in tight spaces and the width of the jaws is much smaller than others, but this tool seems very solid. I have several Channellock tools and am familiar with them. The quality of Hummer is second to none. I'm very glad I heard about this and will be buying more as my other tools aren't working.
