Review on Vive Ankle Brace Compression for Sprained Ankles by Dany Hamilton

I am giving this product 2 stars because I think this brace would be useful but I cannot rate it on that basis. After a day of using it, I woke up to find my ankle was blistered and itchy due to an allergic reaction. After 5 days, large and small blisters with slight itching remain. This is the first time I've had a reaction to neoprene. Last year I wore a large boot on the same foot for 6 weeks without any reaction. Aside from a fairly large blister, I have two long, thin lines where the stitches ran down my ankle. These bubbles are lined up and you can see the stitch lines are clearly protecting my skin. I wrote to the company and their reply was brief, stating that the material is neoprene. I think it must be some kind of chemical I was reacting to. . I don't think I will be diving in the future.
