Perfect for my needs!

Can't say enough good things about this brace! Very well made, strong hold and they don't joke about the heavy duty velcro! I can easily adjust the tightness of the brace by stretching the straps more or less and have had no pain since I first put it on. It's really too bulky for a shoe, but goes with many sandals. At night when I climb a lot of stairs I wear my Short Air Cam Walker Fracture Boot, Medium over it and am not afraid of repeating damage (stress fracture). Can't believe this is so…

May cause skin abrasions

The corset works perfectly. I reluctantly post this review after several emails from the seller. I'd rather not talk about it at all, but after a few days I started having abrasions around my foot and lower leg, right where the joint pops up. I can't wear it at the moment because it tore my skin and it would be very painful. There is also a small rash. Not sure what to suggest, but maybe put something under the item even if it's thick. Allergic reaction to leg and foot braces

I am giving this product 2 stars because I think this brace would be useful but I cannot rate it on that basis. After a day of using it, I woke up to find my ankle was blistered and itchy due to an allergic reaction. After 5 days, large and small blisters with slight itching remain. This is the first time I've had a reaction to neoprene. Last year I wore a large boot on the same foot for 6 weeks without any reaction. It is by no means suitable for shoes, but applied correctly, the bandage relieves pain.

Definitely will not fit in shoes. That downside aside, it provides pain relieving support for my sprained ankle. I think I will mainly use it at home and while sleeping and will opt for KT tape when I am outside in my shoes. Fit Tip: Consider the anatomy of the foot when putting them on. Align the gel supports to anatomically fit your ankles. Only then should you start closing the (very strong) Velcro straps.
