Our house is old, so the driveway is paved. We have dogs so chemicals are out of the question. I use this and a 20 liter propane tank and can burn all the grass and weeds in less than a couple of hours. It's a long road. I can also use it in winter for icy patches on a walk where I don't want to use salt. Finally, I use this when I need to patch sections of asphalt in indoor apartments, first heating the soil and then adding the patch and then heating it too so it flows better and adapts to extreme cold. Finally, when we burn the brush, we fill the large fire pit. I don't need fuel to light the fire like gas. I just hold it close to the base and hit it with a lot of pressure and it fires instantly. I consider it safer than using gasoline. The hose is softer and much longer than most. The igniter is easy to use and has always worked. Overall it's a lot better than other cheaper ones I've had.
