Bought for my grandmother. Her gas stove decided to go out on Thanksgiving morning. Since she is 89 years old and can no longer smell, I was concerned about replacing her gas stove with another gas stove. With an electric stove she would have to relearn how to cook which would not be ideal and her stove is gas heated so why not stick with it. I just installed it with one outlet and checked the accuracy. Before I even turned on the gas, I first checked the pressure change in the house. Opening windows and doors around the monitor did not trigger. I turned on the gas for the burner but didn't light it. I was waiting outside with my grandmother and soon this device started screaming. He does what he has to. Of course, getting him to quit while we drain the house of natural gas wasn't easy. Airing didn't help. The only solution was to disable it. This device works exactly as it should and I'm so thankful someone chose it. We have had smoke detectors and CO2 detectors for many years. This little device has been needed for so long. I just never thought of looking for it. Now that my grandmother was of legal age and could no longer smell natural gas additives, it wasn't hard to start looking.
