I've been traveling cross country recently and bought this bag with my Curt Manufacturing 18131, 2-Piece Cargo Cart, Folding Tail. They are close to each other. I'm always a bit nervous when I want something to be "waterproof" but this bag didn't disappoint. He stood in a truck for 6 days and 2,000 miles. It survived all weather and held up perfectly. Inside everything was clean and dry. The bag has a zipper that closes on the outside so you can adjust it to fit your belongings. It also has a flap that closes the top zip for added weather protection. The bag fit 2 large suitcases, a vacuum cleaner, a case of beer, cleaning supplies and many other things that weren't in the boxes. Since my stuff wasn't square, I was afraid the bag might tear. It's very durable and the lumps didn't even stretch it. While the attached straps will likely be sufficient for a short ride, I didn't trust them for my long ride. I used the included straps in addition to the 3 1-1/2" ratchet straps that I purchased separately. This is required by your carrier.
