Review on Waterproof Spotting Scope in Black by BARSKA Colorado by Leo Puente

I'm updating my rating. When it arrived it was exactly as advertised and I was very happy with my first use. It seemed a little light and cheap, but while I didn't have much experience to compare it to others, it seemed like a good deal. The optics themselves were excellent, and on a temperate day in a very dry climate, heat waves were the limiting factor in how clearly I could see a mile down. I didn't realize how much I wanted an eyepiece like that. that adjusts/tilts vertically, but I do - if the tripod can't be adjusted to the perfect height, you have to strain your neck to see. It has had very little use so far, but one of the lens caps has cracked after being stored in fairly ideal conditions for several months. I suspect the optics also shift - I have to press my eye directly against the eyepiece to get a working eye relief. That definitely didn't happen before.
