I love this collar. It looks good and is of good quality. This is my second purchase but not because the first one was ruined. (I just decided to ditch it rather than deal with the skunk smell. :) It's enough for my dog to smell it). The first served us for more than 1.5 years and probably would have served much more. Anyway, the best part? My dog has sensitive skin. it's the only collar that lets your skin breathe and doesn't rip (especially in summer). The way it's made it's narrow and never hardens in close contact with the skin, so it just works. Leather is also a good material for this. I do NOT use it for running. This collar is mainly for holding dog tags and maybe catching a dog while we are in the house. Always use a non-slip option for walking :). PS My dog is 90 pounds and I bought a large one. because the measurements say measure and add 2 inches. so I measured it as 20. so it came out 22 and had to buy bigger ones. The skin will stretch. I bought my last one large and ended up having to use a zipper and it was still a bit loose. It's a good fit for now, but I think I could be brave and get the medium. Just a thought.
