Excellent collar. Pyrenees looks amazing with her long hair and rolled up collar. Bought a flat tag that matched the buckle snugly to keep her hair from getting so tangled between the rolled up collar and the flat tag. Only used for a week but the quality is great. Would buy again.

We don't use the collar very often - mostly just when picking up dogs from the property. We have only used this collar a couple of times and the leash ring on it fell off. It's completely out of whack. Not happy because these collars are not particularly cheap. I won't buy any other.

Having had long haired dogs for the last 20 years these collars do a great job of helping my dogs avoid tangling around their necks. I find this particular brand of collar to be quite durable, well constructed and a great value. My dogs find them comfortable to wear.

I think this collar is best for a very long haired dog. My short haired Anatolian Shepherd feels very uncomfortable when being pulled. I think a thicker collar is better for large short haired dogs. The quality isn't bad, but the free end is so twisted that I have to cut off the excess length. Also, his neck is 18 inches long, which is too big for him.

I bought a leather collar because our Golden puppy eats collars from our older Golden. This was destroyed within a few minutes, although it was a leather collar. The leather feels dry, not stiff, and given the way it's torn it doesn't feel like a premium material. When fastening, the thinner part of the leather feels cheap. Lovely rolled leather (real rolled leather, not wrapped around the cord) and 22 inches, fits around my tall collie boy's neck. It was sort of an in-between size, so I went with 22 inches instead of 20 inches. 4 holes in the buckle; We use the third from the end. Black goes perfectly with our blue/grey merle. I love this collar. It looks good and is of good quality. This is my second purchase but not because the first one was ruined. I have been using these rolled leather collars on my German Shepherds for over 25 years. These are just great collars. Collars initially look "thin" and feel stiff, but quickly lose this stiffness and become elastic.
