A collar that has stood the test of time

I have been using these rolled leather collars on my German Shepherds for over 25 years. These are just great collars. Collars initially look "thin" and feel stiff, but quickly lose this stiffness and become elastic. When I look at my almost 1 year old pup's collar it still looks flimsy compared to my almost 14 year old GS's. Fit: My current pup is all black and weighs about 75 pounds at just under a year old. The size of his neck is about 18.1 inches. While waiting for the dog to grow and the collar to stretch, I am using a 22" collar and am currently using the second hole in the collar. I would have liked the collar to be a little looser (I know how I feel with something around my neck). With this setting, I can easily place the collar on my head when attached, but it is a bit more difficult to remove (I usually remove the collar from the dog at night, and putting the collar on in the morning is part of my job). morning ritual before a walk). History: As I mentioned above, I have been using this type of collar for over twenty five years. The only downside is that depending on what your dog gets into, the collar can get a bit smelly over time, but the saddle soap seems to take the odor away. Your dog's neck shows no signs of wear and depending on the dog's coat length, with the exception of dog tags, the dog may be missing a collar. The collars seem to grow with the dog. Conclusion: Great solid collars that I can highly recommend. I have been using rolled leather collars for a long time and have used the Circle T for 15 years.
